What’s the difference in sound?

The New Drum beaters give a clean bass drum sound with high volume thanks to the compactness of materials and their low weight.

Also the sound depends on the hitting surface you choose.

 

How many types of hitting surface you can choose?

New Drum offers 4 types of hitting surfaces, you can choose from:

- Nude surface

- Leather

-Rubber

- Felt

How to choose the hitting surface ?

The choice depends on your personal preference and your musical genre.

The following picture shows the characteristics of the different hitting surfaces.

The felt gives soft sound with great punch while the nude surface gives much attack and less punch.

In the middle we find rubber and leather: the first make a full-bodied sound with much attack than felt, while the second gives an high attack with much full-bodied sound than nude surface.
